<美味> Let's expereince the Authentic Indian Cuisine in SheungWan! @ Namaste Kitchen 滋味廚房 ~*

Last week was my mom's birthday, so i decided to choose something special for her birthday lunch. (dinner will be my Dad's turn) Searching Trip Advisor there are always lots of great choices and I quickly found this lovely restaurant named " Namaste Kitchen" which serves great and tasty Indian cuisine.





The restaurants provide a wide array of Indian food and the price will not break your bank. We found that they will serve brunch which is only HKD 80 even in the weekend! It included Salad, main course (you can choose one from them) and a drink. 

Finally we ordered 2 brunches for this.

The Salad is super fresh and crispy! I especially love the dressing which bring up the taste to another level.

 

 

Vegetable Samosa is served with potato, carrot  and peas. The potato is smashed and well mixed with other vegetable. Taste is really great and it's just like a cross between a samosa and a spring roll. Crispy is the only word I come up my mind.

 

 It was a sunny day and we were really hot! So we ordered our complimentary drink first. We chose iced milk tea. Taste is a bit different from what we have normally. there's a hint of ginger coming out but my mom guess it was herbs. Anyway tell me if you know that~

 

Main Course - Chicken Tikka again. It comes with 4 big pieces. Chicken is so spicy and not too old. It's a bit spicy anyway.

 

Brunch will come with either rice or naan. Naan is a big piece and not very oily. You can dip it into the curry sauce and make it more declious and flavourful!



Here comes another main course - Chicken Chowmin. I like it most to be honest!  They are well flavored and this is exactly the type of Chowmin (fried noodle) I love! Not too salty and a bit spicy.

Overall, the food was above average and the staff all were super nice! They will give you lots of smile and recommend you a lot despite the big menu. I will definitely come here again to taste some other great food.
